How to make one

Printing and sizing it
A WiFi code only needs to work up close, so it can be printed smaller than one meant to be read across a room — a few centimetres across is usually enough for a table tent or a card taped by the router. Keep the quiet zone intact and avoid a heavily glossy laminate, which can wash the pattern out under bright light. If the network's password changes, generate a fresh code — a WiFi code always encodes the password directly, so there's no way to update one already printed.
Why it's always static
A WiFi code is always static — it isn't one of the types this app can make dynamic, and there's a good reason for that: a network's name and password are exact values a device needs to read all at once to connect, not a redirect it should follow. If the password changes, printing a new code takes seconds and costs nothing on the free plan, since static codes have no limit.

- Is my WiFi password sent anywhere?
- No. The code is generated entirely in your browser and the password is never transmitted to our servers.
- Does it work on iPhone and Android?
- Yes. Both connect from the built-in camera app; no separate scanner is needed.
- What if my network is hidden?
- Enable the hidden option. It adds a flag telling the device to search for a network that does not broadcast its name.
- SVG or PNG — what's the difference?
- PNG is a fixed grid of pixels that gets blurry when scaled up. SVG is vector-based and stays sharp at any size, which matters if the code is headed for print. SVG export is a Pro feature.
